Here in Cork we pride ourselves on the development of players. We run our PDP across the county in our 4 divisions of the county @ Under 13 Under 15 and Under 17 age groups.

• Dynamic and effective in its delivery to maximise potential of all players
• An inclusive programme for all players, focusing on players at various stages of development
• Provide an opportunity for players to develop individually, with different players, learn new skills, and develop the fundamental skills in a positive and safe environment
• Expose players to high quality coaching experiences that are in line with demands of our game i.e., technical, tactical, physical, and psycho/social
• Focus on coach development and create awareness of good coaching structures and methods
• Assist in monitoring players participation over a period
• Create good County and Club relationships

Our aim is to develop girls playing ladies football across the county by improving their skills the goal is at the end of the PDP the girls will go back to their clubs a better all round player.

The mixture of players from other clubs and divisions offer a new social aspect plus add to it a diverse group of trained coaches to help assist and guide the young players throughout the program.

The PDP runs for 12 weeks during which there will be games played across the four divisions play each other, this offers the players the opportunity to display their skills and connect with their newly formed team.

All coaches are current members of LGFA from clubs within their divisions which volunteered to commit to the program all coaches are garda vetted and have completed the PDP coaches training.

At intercounty we run development panels Under 14 and Under 16 that compete in Munster competition.
